Thanks for joining me! Or should I say thanks for joining me again?! I tried this blog thing a few years ago while galavanting around Europe with the hubs. I’m so glad I did because I can read it back and relive the details of where we went and what we did. Because you know my brain can’t hold all those details any more so ya, blog!
So this decor thing – how did THAT happen? Honestly, I have no idea other than it’s what God knew I needed! It started with some life upheaval (full story on that in future blog post…see what I did there…got you on the hook, just need to slooowly reel you in!) and realizing Roberts (the hubs) home office was in dire need of an overhaul. I wonder what we were thinking when we painted that room originally? #arewecolorblind So, I suggest we redecorate, add some faux ship lap (looks totally legit and a fraction of the cost) paint – first with Kilz because the color was so horrendous – then paint, put together a new bed, add a farmhouse style hanging light, flowy white curtains and a sign that says everything about the transformation of this office to a BEAUTIFUL guest room. We did this all in one weekend. A weekend of transformation, cathartic start of healing and seeing how Jesus, with arms (and doors) open wide, can make beautiful things out of the dust!
